1/13/2024 0 Comments Exe icon changer online![]() ![]() csproj, for context Logo is the new icon and LogoTemp was the old placeholder. csproj file with no success from either attempt. I have tried setting this in the project properties and specifying the path to the new icon in the. ![]() On top of this, when I build in debug mode it uses the correct icon, but in release mode its using the old placeholder. However, for some reason when I build the release build it is still using the old placeholder icon despite me removing it from the project and setting it to the new one. I am now trying to replace said placeholder with a proper icon. How can I do this Notes: Using Windows 7 64bit, but I'm interested in 32-bit executables as well, which will perhaps run on Win XP etc. Now, I know I can use a shortcut with whatever icon I want, but what I'm looking to do is change the icon without the executable itself. NET 5 that I set a application exe icon for awhile back with a placeholder. 1 I have an application whose executable contains some default icon.
